Who Should Choose Reiki for Healing?
Healing is a journey, and life’s challenges can sometimes make it feel even more difficult. During these times, Reiki can provide gentle support or even play a profound role in the healing process.
As a complementary and holistic practice, Reiki is not a replacement for direct medical or psychological intervention. Yet, it is often overlooked as a supportive approach until times become too tough to handle.
From my personal and clients' experiences, Reiki has been particularly beneficial when conventional interventions alone are not enough.
For mental and emotional support, counselling provides a space to be heard, regulate emotions, and gain clarity through conversation. However, I often work with clients facing overwhelming emotions and stress—whether from work, relationships, grief, or intense feelings that cloud their judgment. During such times, Reiki helps shift their energy and support their emotional processing, bringing a renewed sense of clarity.
Similarly, Reiki can support those managing physical conditions, from chronic ailments to persistent aches and pains. Many of my clients have tried regular massages or physiotherapy with limited relief, yet after a Reiki session, they often experience a noticeable sense of ease and comfort.
Who is Reiki for?
Reiki is for anyone who wishes to accelerate their healing process. There are no contraindications with other interventions. Whether you're looking to improve or maintain your energetic balance, navigate challenging life situations, process emotions, or support physical healing, Reiki can help.
Who is Reiki not for?
Healing is not a linear process, and there is often a healing curve. Sometimes, we need to go through a detox phase and remain open to outcomes that are for our highest good, which may differ from our expectations. Reiki may not be suitable for those who are not interested in deep healing work or who struggle to let go of attachments and expectations.
In such cases, a one-hour deeper treatment may not be ideal. Instead, a 30-minute session focused on balancing and alignment could be a better fit.
Why should I choose you?
No two Reiki practitioners or sessions are the same. Reiki can vary not only from practitioner to practitioner but also from session to session. I believe that each practitioner brings their unique energy, and the Reiki channeled reflects both the depth and essence of that practitioner.
It's important to take your time in choosing the right practitioner for you. Consider their personality, values, character, and energy—and how these might align with your needs and healing journey. I encourage you to schedule a discovery call with me so we can learn more about each other and explore how we can work together to best support you.
I believe that we are all doing the best we can, given the resources available to us at any point in time. If you’ve exhausted all other options to support yourself, I encourage you to give Reiki a try.
